Two new Assistant Attorney Generals sworn in

The Attorney General Rengiil (AG) and staff of the Office of the Attorney General witnessed a swearing in ceremony conducted by Associate Justice Lourdes Materne for Ms. Christa Boyd-Nafstad and Ms. Angela Adams as new Assistant Attorney General (AAG) for the Republic on October 23, 2018.

Ms. Boyd-Nafstad is an AAG focusing on civil matters. She previously practiced labor and employment, construction law, contract law, and general civil litigation in Texas. She is experienced in a broad range of employment matters; including state and federal discrimination claims, covenants not to compete, Sarbanes-Oxley Whistleblower litigation, and unemployment appeals. She is licensed in all Federal District Courts in Texas. Ms. Boyd-Nafstad attended law school on full merit scholarship and graduated in the top 10% of her class. While in law school she completed internship with the

National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the American Federation of Labor (AFL).
