A group of Taiwanese digital influencers and journalists are currently in Palau to embark on an eight-day tour to promote the country’s destinations to Taiwan tourists.
Seven Taiwanese Key Opinion Leaders, through the initiative of the Palau Visitors Authority (PVA), are exploring Palau and creating contents for the Taiwanese audience that will promote Palau’s beautiful sceneries across all media platforms.
The group arrived on September 4 and had begun their itinerary the following day by visiting the oldest traditional meeting house in Airai State and trying out Palauan authentic food.
Most of the influencers are first-timers in Palau but had a lot of experiences covering several destinations in different countries such as in the Kenya, Maldives, Philippines, Mauritius, South America, Indonesia, and others.
The group shared that each of them travels to an average of more than 20 destinations in a year.
Some members of the group also have a solid social media following while others provide content for reputable news organizations in Taiwan. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
