Splash Dive Center was established in 1987 under NECO Sports Corporation. Mr. Shallum Etpison is the Corporate President. The company is run and operated by several individuals such as General Manager, Mr. Ryosuke Yonezawa, Assistant Manager, Mr. Jackson Doktok, and Secretary, Mrs. Jereline B. Siksei. An employee at Splash consists of eight Palauans, four Japanese, and one Filipino. Splash offers an array of services such as diving, kayaking, land tours, and Hobie Cat sailing.

Splash supports the calendar because they feel it is worth educating Palau’s students and community about how to conserve and preserve Palau’s awe-inspiring marine life. They find it interesting and reassuring to know that young Palauan artists are aware of Palau’s marine life and its significance now and in the future.

The PICRC 2017 Arts & Tides Calendar theme is the Important Role of Herbivores on Coral Reefs. This theme has helped raise awareness about protecting Palau’s coral reef fishes for our future by educating the young generation and the community about how herbivorous fish maintain healthy reefs.
