Remengesau to be featured speaker at World Affairs Council of Western Michigan

(Michigan, USA) President Remengesau Jr. will be a featured speaker at the 68th Anniversary Event of the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan on November 1, 2017, according to information from the Office of the President.
The event invitation states that “Palau operates in the center of major potential conflicts brewing in the Pacific” and that President Remengesau’s visit is at critical time for both U.S. and Palau defense strategy.
It also features Remengesau as global leader in conservation and promises the event to be “provocative”.
President Remengesau is on his way to attend the 23rd session of COP 23 (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change at Bonn, Germany to take place on November 6-17. On his way there, he will be stopping and giving an address at his alma mater, Grand Valley State.
