The Angel Center – School of Pacific invites all pottery masters to create some beautiful items from Palau Pottery Clay to represent Palau traditional pottery art in 2020 at the Hawaii Festival of Arts.
We believe that it is important to offer opportunity to all to participate and be able to have space to create their pottery art. Techedib Kalistus Rexid, Richard Kyota and Snow will be there from Monday to Friday from 9AM until 12PM. The next batch starts from 1PM to 3PM. Participants are requested to carry their own lunch and water
The sign up fee is $30 for three months and 20Lbs of Palau pottery clay will be provided to compete in the Palau Pottery Masters challenge. Additional pottery clay will be available for $0.50 per Lbs.
When the pottery items become dry participants will have to pay for electric power/token $20 per person to fire the items in the electric kiln with high temperature fire. Second electric power / token will be $25
The Angel Center – School of Pacific is located in Bital Ked, Idid Hamlet topside Koror. Interested people can sign up on Monday-Friday from May 21st to 24th in the morning 9AM to 11 at the Angel Center and the session will start the week after that on May 27th. (PR)
