The Ministry of Justice is increasing policemen’s presence on the roads this Christmas and New Year’s to ensure the safety of drivers and residents. [restrict]
Celebrations and increased traffic could cause multitude of potential issues. With the forthcoming holiday Vice President and Minister of Justice Raynold Oilouch said it will require even more precautions from merrymakers and the community.
Oilouch said he is especially concern about drunk driving that could lead to accidents and police are prepared to conduct several spot checks over the weekend in addition to roving and foot patrols at nighttime , especially during the weekends.
Oilouch said shifts for police officers are also increasing and at daytime ensure that there will be traffic control with more congestion expected leading up to the Christmas and New Year holidays. [/restrict]
