PNSB conducts community outreach activities
In preparation for the coming school year 2019-2020, the Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) has started its regular outreach activities to the community and local high schools on January 31.
The first outreach was conducted during the Governance Clinic for Leaders for Angaur State which was held at the PCC Assembly Hall.
The next outreach was also held at the PCC Assembly Hall on the evening of February 6, 2019 with the local high school seniors who are members of the Educational Talent Search Program (ETSP) along with their parents/guardians attended a high school senior/parents workshop sponsored by ETSP.
PNSB is scheduled to do more visits in the coming weeks to reach as much high school seniors and PCC students who may be thinking of pursuing their higher degrees. Coordinator Chur Oiph stresses that this first quarter of the year is when most of the scholarship programs open up and applications are being accepted.
With so many scholarship opportunities available to Palauan citizens, PNSB hopes to saturate the public with scholarship information in hopes that as students become aware of the information that they step forward and take advantage of these scholarships. Scholarship programs & the deadlines are being publicized in the PNSB ad in this newspaper.
