The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) had reviewed the follow-up report and related evidentiary materials submitted by the school.
The WASC team then conducted a review to determine whether PCC had completed all the requirements, addressed issues identified by the peer review team during their previous visit, and complied with the standards.
In a press statement sent to Island Times, it was stated that PCC has addressed the compliance recommendations 2, 4, and 5, corrected deficiencies, and had met the standards set by the accrediting body.
The accrediting commission asked the PCC to send midterm report on March 15, 2020 and it had also set the institution’s next comprehensive review in the spring term of 2023. [/restrict]
