Palau Asia Pacific Air Inc. will be suspending its thrice a week flights between Palau and Macau beginning this August 31st according to its press release issued yesterday. The notice also said that the airline plans to resume services either in September or October or within 30 to 40 days.
The airline cites changes to business strategy as reason it will not be working with Sky Angkor Airline from which it currently leases the sole aircraft Airbus A320 servicing Palau/Macau route.
Meanwhile, PAPA says it will charter 50% of Lanmei airline capacity to continue to bring its customers to Palau.
PAPA which resumed direct flights to Palau in January of this year, offered direct flights between Hong Kong/Palau and Macau/Palau.
