FIST PUMP! THREE more Palauan National Records were broken today. Although it seems to be the “norm”, today’s records were anything but that.
Shae broke Anlloyd Samuel’s (Our 2000 Sydney Games Olympian) final short course record in the 50 Breaststroke, while Osisang broke Siko Yobech’s (Our 2008 Beijing Games Olympian) final record in the 50 Backstroke. Not to be outdone, Noel also broke his own record in the 50 back becoming the first Palauan to break 30 seconds in that event.
Even better was the fact that all six swims today were best times!
Mens 50 Breast (Anlloyd’s old record was a 34.12) Shae went a 32.55 and Noel went a 32.89.
Womens 50 Back (Siko’s old record was a 34.05) Osisang went a 33.80, and Roylin dropped two tenths going a 34.61.
