This show was organized by Pacific Island Centre which is an international organization founded in 1996 with the objective of supporting the economic development of fourteen Pacific Island nations through promotion of trade, investment, and tourism between Japan and the Pacific Islands Centre member countries.
PVA was able to collect authentic locally made products from Palauan entrepreneurs to showcase and promote at the Palau Booth. These included virgin coconut oil product by Pure Palau and Palauan Made, coconut candies by Roberta’s Kitchen, lip balm by Coco Jumo and Palau designed t-shirts by Belau Tribe. In addition to the show, Palau representatives were able to meet with various potential buyers for authentic local products which could possibly expand our production for sales to other countries. Other pacific countries that participated in the show were Marshall Islands, Kingdom of Tonga, FSM, Samoa and Cook Islands displaying various products from coconut oil as well, beauty products, jewelries and handicrafts.
