Palau and Taiwan join forces to combat human trafficking

March 20, 2017 (Koror, Palau) Republic of Palau and Republic of China (Taiwan) signed an accord on Friday agreeing to cooperate on immigration matters and on prevention of human trafficking.
“Palau is used as a weaker link into United States and many are finding it as easier access and taking advantage of it,” stated Minister of State Billy Kuartei, who signed the agreement for the Republic of Palau.
