Pacific Partnership’s band to perform in next night market

United States Ambassador to Palau Amy Hyatt told reporters in an interview at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center on Wednesday that the Pacific Partnership’s band, the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet “Deep Six” Bass Band, will perform on the next night market, April 13, at the Ernguul Central Park.

The Palau Visitors Authority, in a statement published on their website, also announced the same, saying that the band will be at the next night market to entertain the crowd with different genres of music.

The next night market is dubbed “Rock the Boat.”

The Pacific Partnership 2018 mission will be here in Palau for two weeks to conduct multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission and it is delegated by military personnel from the U.S., United Kingdom, Japan and Australia who visit Pacific communities to conduct medical, dental and veterinary services as well as engineering projects.

Meanwhile, the next night market will also feature children’s games, traditional and contemporary dance performances and guests will also enjoy an array of local food being sold at the night market. (Rhealyn C. Pojas/Reporter)
