New law set SSA retirement age at 60
Social Security Administration (SSA) retirement age to be able to be eligible to receive old age benefits is now at 60 years old.

RPPL 10-03 fixed the inconsistencies to the existing law by fixing the retirement age for SSA benefits.
Adjusting the age of the retirement eligibility was a rider in the law that increases the salaries of the members of the Supreme Court.
Under the 2017 Unified budget, $2,000,000 was appropriated to pay the additional $50 benefit to retirees each month as alternative to Senior Citizens Discount. [/restrict]
