As Palau gears up for the hosting of the “Our Ocean” Conference in 2020, President Remengesau hopes for Italy’s support and partnership.

Ambassador Guglielmino expressed Italy’s commitment, continued partnership and support on various areas, including ocean protection and security, promotion of quality tourism and investment from Italy in support of Palau’s tourism industry.

He further announced efforts to establish direct flights from Rome to Philippines, connecting Italy closer to Palau.
