New immigration officer sworn in

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) conducted a swearing in ceremony for new immigration officer Derrick Solang at the office of the Vice President on November 14, 2018.

The ceremony was witnessed by Solang’s family and friends and was graced by the presence of Vice President and Minister of Justice Oilouch, Chief of Staff Mr. Ongidobel, Special Assistant to the Vice President Ms. Portia Franz and Division of Immigration Chief Misech who facilitated the oath-taking.

Vice President and Minister Oilouch along with his team expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Solang’s decision to join the Division of Immigration. According to the newly sworn in Officer’s families and friends, the Ministry is fortunate to add on to its force an honest and responsible individual.

Mr. Solang also conveyed his gratefulness for the Ministry of the opportunity to be a part of the MOJ family and hopes to add value to the challenging tasks of the Division. (PR)
