Palau’s first ever Miss Independence pageant was a show not to be missed. The 2019’s Miss Independence Winner is Itab S. Ngirdimau. Her confidence and self-love captured everyone’s hearts during the actual pageant held at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center on September 7.
Miss Ngirdimau humbly thanked all those who had supported her especially her family and sponsors and those who had attended the event.
Ms. Ngirdimau is 26 years old and works as a Computer Technician at the Bureau of Youth, an office under the Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs (MCCA). Her pageant display was radiant and bubbly and when she spoke she was confident and sweet. She made everyone laughed during the question-and-answer portion when she replied with her thoughts on minimum wage saying “it’s not bad but can be better” and along with her remembrance of Bem Ermii.
Meanwhile, Ms. Mirang Shena Rhea Subediang won the first runner up, Ms. Shalotta Hae Diliaur Jiro Masang got the second runner up and Miss photogenic, and Ms. Dichel Zoe Marie Jonathan won third place. Ms. Lea Letaweryang Josol, meanwhile, won the Ms. Congeniality award. All the participants were so beautiful and did so well.
There were a total of seven beautiful contestants who participated in the event. (Kerdeu Uong)
