Murciano had injuries to his hand and sustained multiple abrasions from the accident, but still tried to get away from police and fled on foot from the accident scene, Santos said.

Police chased him and caught him in the parking lot of the Sweet Home store. He was subdued with a stun gun.

Murciano had a backpack that contained two guns and several small plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine, a scale and $290. Both guns were loaded with ammunition.

He was taken to Guam Regional Medical City hospital in Dededo for his injuries and returned to police custody, Santos said.
