Japanese government scholarship Alumni’s Reunion

On March 16, 2017, the Embassy of Japan in Palau invited the Alumni of the Japanese Government Scholarship Programs to the annual reunion held at Carp restaurant. A total of 12 Alumni and Mr. David Mason, who was recently awarded the scholarship for the Research Program attended this event. [restrict]

Mr. Koji Tomita, Counselor for the Embassy of Japan joined the Alumni during their reunion and showed his support for their plans to promote the Japanese Government Scholarship Programs and other culture related events in Palau.

Currently there are 70 Palauans who have been awarded the Japanese Government Scholarship to study in Japan. There are four types of scholarship programs available through the Government of Japan: Research Program, Teacher Training Program, Undergraduate Program and Specialized Training College Program.

ICB Bank and Pangea Foundation to cooperate on a password-based financial services business

June 14, 2019 - Palau ICB Bank will launch new financial services based on the Pangea Foundation and cryptography promote business.
