Fiji receives support from NZ for UNGA Presidency bid

Fiji- New Zealand has shown its support for Fiji’s United Nations General Assembly Presidency bid.

NZ’s Foreign Minister Murray McCully says he will continue to rally support for Fiji.

McCully says he is happy to see the good progress that has been made with Fiji’s bid. [restrict]

Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Peter Thomson is Fiji’s candidate for the President of the 71st United Nations General Assembly.

McCully met Fijian foreign minister, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola in Nadi when he transited on his return from Tuvalu.
