According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Green admitted to slapping Edmondson and was drunk at the time of his arrest with a .10 blood-alcohol level.
Edmondson said his trouble with the Warriors star began at another bar the night before. Edmondson said Green bumped into him at the other bar. When Edmondson asked Green to say “excuse me,” Green retaliated, “”Do you know who I am?” and “I pay for n—s like you scholarships.”
Edmondson said two of Green’s friends then choked him and his girlfriend. The couple left the bar without contacting police.
Edmondson ran into Green again the next night, when he said he confronted Green by saying, “Last night wasn’t cool.” Green jabbed his finger at Edmondson, who told him to get his hands off him. Green then slapped Edmondson across the face.
Green has since apologized for the incident, saying (via ESPN), “I just can’t put myself in certain situations.” [/restrict]
