A cruise ship carrying over 500 tourists had a stopover in Palau for a one-day tour in several sites of the country on March 4.
The cruise ship, MS Albatros, docked at the Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) dock yesterday morning.
Among the sites that the tourists visited were the Rock Islands, the Airai Bai, and downtown Koror, among others.
Out of the more than 500 tourists, 150 explored downtown Koror, stopping over souvenir shops and others, 165 went to a Rock Island trip, 134 joined the Airai Bai Tour, and 25 tourists explored Palau via aerial tour.
The stopover is part of the MS Albatros’ world cruise that commenced on December 19 in Germany. After Palau, the ship is set to leave for another trip to the Philippines. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
