CAT’s Horror House draws crowd
The Civic Action Team (CAT) had people of different ages queuing even at night last Friday and Saturday just to experience firsthand the famous Horror House staged by the United States Armed Forces annually.
This year, the horror house was set up at Camp Katuu in Airai but the distance did not keep those who are from other states from visiting the place and experiencing fun with friends and families.
The scary vibe was immediately set up as one would enter the camp as a roaming, hyperactive, scary clown bringing a was already in plain sight.
Both kids and adults also enjoyed having photo opportunity with the clowns.
Entering the dark horror house, a creepy soundtrack was played that only added to the surprises as people walked their way through the house.
As if one clown was not scary enough, more clowns were even present inside the house. Grotesque-looking monsters with fake blood that almost looked real would also suddenly appear out of nowhere just to give you a fright.
And just as one would think everything was over after coming out of the horror house, a chainsaw would suddenly groan from somewhere behind you, making you feel as if you were one of the characters being chased by the serial killer in the popular movie “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.
Aside from the horror house, a free movie screening was also prepared for the guests. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
