Calvo’s donates $500 to PCS to support efforts to link health and conservation
Koror, Palau –On May 19, Palau Conservation Society (PCS) received a $500 donation from Calvo’s Insurance to support an upcoming initiative that links health outcomes with environmental outcomes. Clean water and air, access to local and fresh food, safe streets for walking and bike riding, reducing cancer-causing agents in the environment, pest eradication, climate change – the list goes on concerning the linkages between health and environment. PCS looks forward to extending its reach by working more intentionally with health care partners.
The PCS board and staff would like to express sincere appreciation for the support of Calvo’s and partners like them.
