Blue Bay and PCS celebrate partnership for conservation

Bluebay celebrates 10-year anniversary.

Koror, Palau –Blue Bay Petroleum Inc. continues the celebration of its ten-year anniversary of operations in Palau by supporting conservation.

On Tuesday July 30, 2019, Blue Bay donated $5,000 to Palau Conservation Society (PCS) to support the “Inspiring Ocean Stewardship Through Action-based Ocean Education” project which aims to empower Palau’s youth to become future conservation champions.

Blue Bay has been one of PCS’ major and most active supporters for the past 10 years. As a Corporate Partner for Conservation (CPC), their donations have contributed to meaningful conservation impacts in Palau from ridge to reef.

Corporate partners like Blue Bayen sure that Palau’s school children will have a strong understanding of Palau’s unique environment and become champions for its protection.

2019 is an anniversary year for both Blue Bay and PCS. While Blue Bay is celebrating its tenth, PCS is celebrating 25 years as the first, local conservation NGO in Palau. With the support of members, partners, communities, and CPCs like Blue Bay, PCS has mentored many young successful Palauans to become conservation leaders in their respective careers.

Looking forward to the next 25 years, PCS continues to look to partners, members, and CPCs to support the success of vital conservation projects and to inspire young people across Palau to take action in protecting their natural resources.
