Bank of Hawaii made their annual contribution to Palau Conservation Society (PCS) to support future conservation champions of Palau on the 4th of April. The check of $2,000 was presented by Bank of Hawaii to PCS in support of their project to inspire future conservation champions of Palau.

Bank of Hawaii is one of major banks in Palau providing banking services and finance management services to the locals and residents. Bank of Hawaii is also one of several businesses in Palau that are a member of PCS Corporate Partners for Conservation (CPC) program.

As a CPC, Bank of Hawaii has been contributing to the success of vital conservation projects that have had meaningful impact in the communities.

The CPC program was initiated by PCS to provide a platform to the underutilized private sector in Palau to participate more fully in the advancement of bio diversity conservation and sustainable resource management.

PCS has mentored many young successful Palauans that have become conservation leaders in their respective careers.

PCS celebrates its 25th anniversary as Palau’s first local conservation non-profit and looks to partners, members and CPCs to continue to support the success of vital conservation projects and to inspire young people across Palau to take action in protecting their natural resources.
