Renee Sherman, Airai Elementary School Teacher, has been accepted and will be attending JICA knowledge Co-Creation Program in Japan. The training she will be attending is called Improving Teaching Methods for Science and Mathematics in Primary Education.
From September 26 to November 17, 2018, the training course Sherman will attend will provide her with knowledge and skills to formulate lesson plans which stimulate students’ learning motivations, and thus contribute to improve the quality of mathematics and science education in their countries. She joins 13 other participants from different countries across Africa and the Pacific.
