A new Assistant Attorney General from Fiji sworn in

March 16, 2017 (Koror, Palau) The Office of the Attorney General gains another attorney, bringing the total number of attorneys in the AG’s Office to five (5), not including the Attorney General herself, Ms. Ernestine Rengiil. [restrict]
Sworn-in by Associate Justice Honora Remengesau-Rudimch, AAG Jiutasa Vosikata also became the third Fiji national to serve in Palau’s legal system. Vosikata joins his countryman Poseci Lalabalavu as prosecutors in the Attorney General’s Office while their other countryman, Mr. Mosese Waibuta serves in the Office of the Public Defender.
Other assistant attorney generals include a Palauan attorney Asterio Takashi who was also recently sworn in and two Americans, Evan Robbins and Elizabeth Miles. [/restrict]
