A controversial issue that is credited to the ousting almost half of the incumbent Senators was the pay raise increase of elected and appointed officials approved after the 2014 Guam General Election.
Senators that got voted out include Republicans Brant McCreadie, Tony Ada and Frank Blas Jr., and Democrats Rory Respicio and Tina Muña Barnes.
Speaker Judith Won Pat, D-Inarajan, and Nerissa Underwood, D-Tamuning also were voted out. [/restrict]
