45 patients to receive gifts from PPUC’s Giving Back Program

Forty-five homebound patients are going to receive gifts from the Palau Public Utilities Corporation through the Giving Back Program to be held today, November 16.

The PPUC is set to meet the Health Minister Emais Roberts and other executives of the ministry and visit the homebound patients in Babeldaob.

The Giving Back Program, which is now on its fourth year, is funded through the PPUC’s earned points from purchasing supplies from one of the shopping centers in Koror.

PPUC first visited the patients to identify their general needs before purchasing gift items such as diapers, pillow cases, oatmeals, gloves, soaps, towels, and body lotions, among others.

Last year, PPUC had given gift baskets to patients in Koror and Airai.

They are also giving out gifts to outlying states such as Peleliu and Kayangel, according to the statement sent to the Island Times. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
