In an effort of supporting the Catholic Mission’s deteriorated PA system, members of Class of ’82 (Classics of ’82) presented a new and complete portable audio system for use in any Catholic upcoming events.

The audio system was presented to Father Rusk Saburo at the Osiaol grounds on Thursday last week.

The Class of ’82 is composed of graduated students of 1982 from all high schools in Palau which includes Palau (PHS), Mindszenty (MHS), Emmaus (EHS), Bethania (BHS), Ibobang (IHS) and Palau Mission Academy (PMA).

“Any students on the island who also graduated in 1982 anywhere in the world are also welcome to join the group,” Governor Ellender Ngirameketii of Ngiwal State said.

Members previously held a fund-raising event on 2nd of March at the Ernguul Park selling lunch boxes including drinks. According to the members, the event was a hit and a huge success thanks to public supporters.

“Thanks to all the Classics of ’82 for all their support and although they were not there in person, everyone were among us in spirit with cheers and praises along the way” Governor said.

The Class of ’82 came up with the prospect of grouping together during their 25th Anniversary held at the Olbukl Club back in 2007 as the first to combine all high school graduates in Palau. Since then members have managed continuance of the club with their 30th Anniversary in 2012 held at Palau Pacific Resort. (PR)
